According to recent information from the OLED association , it is likely device Galaxy Note 3 will use the technology YOUM screen (a type of flexible OLEDs fabricated on plastic / resin) developed by the Samsung. This type of display devices will become more durable and can limit the damage caused by the collision.

YOUM screen from Samsung is combined Polyimide resin, a base plate and the sub pixel LTPS self luminous RGB structure, all packaged in the form of thin-flim (using multi-layer technology of Vitex).
